Image prompting keywords

Last lesson you saw that your words steer every step of image generation. Style keywords are the strongest steering wheel you have. The same subject, with one keyword changed, becomes a completely different picture:

Every image was generated from the same base prompt ("a golden retriever sitting on red rock cliffs at sunset") with only the style keyword changed.

The recipe that always works

Good image prompts follow a simple pattern: subject + setting + style + light. For example: "a golden retriever (subject) on red rock cliffs (setting), hyper realistic (style), warm sunset light (light)." You don't need poetry. You need those four slots filled.

Keywords worth stealing

• Realism: "hyper realistic," "photorealistic," "sharp focus," "shot on a professional camera"
• Mood: "cinematic lighting," "golden hour," "soft morning light," "moody and dramatic"
• Art styles: "watercolor," "oil painting," "minimal line art," "isometric 3D illustration"
• Camera looks: "35mm film photo," "wide-angle," "close-up macro," "aerial drone shot"

Two habits of people who get great images

Say what you want, not what you don't. Generators respond far better to "empty street at dawn" than to "street with no cars." Describe the picture you want to see.

Iterate like it's free, because it is. Generate, look, tweak one word, generate again. Your third attempt will beat your first every time, and each round takes seconds.
